Another great shot from Linus Gelber! (click on the image to see larger version)

Check out this review from the Thai Esquire -

"Another fine gems cleverly hidden in the Cabinet of Curiosity, a classically-trained, London-based Amy May recorded all 6 songs here at her home in her imaginary town, changed her numerous line-ups, musical instruments and beautiful clothes. The result was "071", a collection of lush, dreamy and heart-melting songs. Each track tells the story that is hurtful, lonely and longing. "I Lost My Heart" bridged to "Philippe, Philippe" hinted us the artist's name and what she has been through. Title track and "Static Song" are the perfect songs catchily enough to walk through the park that fond memories.. Paris Hotel music is not shy away from Joanna Newsom, Bad anorak 404, Evie Sands, Virginia Astley, Gillian Welch, Innocence Mission, Kirsty MacColl and Bridget St. John. Eventhough this concluded in less than 20 minutes, but you can feel an amount of precious times she spent handcrafting this music."

Also, here is a Radio interview Amy did at SxSW, we had literally just walked off stage from our first show at the Austin Convention Centre - (radio interview).

We got a mention (small, but a mention none the less!) in last Saturday's Guardian letters page - (click here)

WE'RE BACK!!!

What a week we had in Austin... it was amazing. We played 7 shows in total and they all went really really well! We met some amazing people, especially our wonderful hosts, Colin and lauren, and generally had a great time!

We took loads of photos and picked up all our listings and flyers and bits and bobs and we are going to try and put together a whole page on the site with a SxSW diary and photos and scans... in the meantime here's a few photos...

- Linus Gelber took this shot (to the left) at our first show at the Convention Centre. Click the following link to view larger image - www.flickr.com/photos/linus/116340695/. Hopefully we should get a whole bunch more from him as this looks great!

- And here are a bunch of photos that we took between us... Monkey the dog is the latest edition to the Paris Motel Orchestra - reevo.com/pics/

We are now away for 8 days in Austin Texas for SxSW.

We tried to complete as many CD and T-Shirt Orders as possible before we left but couldn't fulfill all of them. We will be on this as soon as we return from the States. Apologies in advance for anyone having to wait for a CD or T-Shirt.

Thanks for your support! See you soon, Paris Motel. x
